Our Reading Ambassador Program

Starting the 21-22 School Year (September through April)

AGB Reading Ambassadors for Elementary School Students (1 position left)

The Avant-garde Books Team is looking for Elementary School Reading Ambassadors to promote literacy and learning among elementary school students in public schools (US residents only). Ambassadors should be in the third through fifth grade (one for each grade level). They will receive at least one free book (as well as special gifts) every month. After reading the AGB monthly book selection, the ambassadors should share what they learned from the book with their classmates, friends, and family members. Ambassadors have full autonomy to share creatively and constructively. However, they are asked to share with us at least two pictures and/or videos of the activities they do. The ambassadorship is for one school year. At this time, we are selecting three elementary school ambassadors. Parental permission is required.

Please email us at avantgardebooks@gmail.com if you know a child who attends a public elementary school (5thgraders only), has a C average or better, and demonstrated good citizenship. One letter of recommendation is required from a teacher or person who is not a family member. 

AGB Reading Ambassadors for Middle School Students (1 position left)

The Avant-garde Books Team is looking for Middle School Reading Ambassadors to promote literacy and learning among middle school students in public schools (US residents only). Ambassadors should be in the eighth grade. They will receive at least one free book (as well as special gifts) every month. After reading the AGB monthly book selection, the ambassadors should share what they learned from the book with their classmates, friends, and family members. Ambassadors have full autonomy to share creatively and constructively. However, they are asked to share with us at least three pictures and/or videos of the activities they do. The ambassadorship is for one school year. At this time, we are selecting three middle school ambassadors. Parental permission is required.

AGB Reading Ambassadors for High School Students (2 positions available)

The Avant-garde Books Team is looking for High School Reading Ambassadors to promote literacy and learning among high school students in public schools (US residents only). Ambassadors should be in the eleventh grade. They will receive at least one free book (as well as special gifts) every month. After reading the AGB monthly book selection, the ambassadors should share what they learned from the book with their classmates, friends, and family members. Ambassadors have full autonomy to share creatively and constructively. However, they are asked to share with us at least three pictures and/or videos of the activities they do. The ambassadorship is for one school year. At this time, we are selecting three high school ambassadors. Parental permission is required.
